  1. North Korea has a regime hostile to the USA.

North Korea has nuclear weapons. The United States does not bomb North Korea.

Iran has a regime hostile to the USA.

Iran does not have nuclear weapons. The United States bombs Iran.

The conclusion is if you can defend yourself with nuclear weapons the United States will not attack you.

What is the sensible thing for Iran to do?

    1. When it comes down to it, this is a moral issue not a ‘common sense’ issue, sadly. As was documented in depth by Gareth Porter, both Khomenei and Khamanei have banned the building of chemical, biological, and nuclear weapons, on the basis that they felt they could not be morally used.

In the case of Khomenei, this was the case even when Saddam Hussein- with the encouragement and support of the zionists and their American and European puppets- was firing chemical weapons at Iranian civilians and soldiers alike, murdering more than 20,000 and maiming hundreds of thousands more. When the head of the IRGC quite rationally organized a group to work on preperations to retaliate, Khomenei ordered that this be shut down. Khamanei has only intensified his admonishment of such efforts.

Personally, I disagree. Khomenei was quite right to say that it would be wrong to go tit for tat with Saddam, and target innocent Iraqi civilians. But using such weapons against areas of occupied Palestine that have been cleansed of their native population would be an entirely different matter.

  2. What a wonderful resume Trump has including rape, pedophile, war mongering and insurrection. No wonder the right adore and idolise him.

  3. Trumps quest to become a dictator is complete. Got rid of those that disagree with him, he owns the supreme court and his party sycophant s have bent over for him.
