New Zealand eyes NATO deal amid security rethink

N ew Zealand on Friday said it was ready to sign a new cooperation deal with NATO, as the country rethinks security in the face of regional tensions and growing Chinese military might.  Foreign minister Winston Peters said after a two-day visit to NATO headquarters in Brussels that a “partnership program” with the alliance would be agreed “in the coming months”. Since the center-right coalition was elected last October, steadfastly independent New Zealand has looked to deepen military ties with “traditional” Western allies.  “The coalition government has made clear the strong emphasis it places on cooperation with New Zealand’s traditional partners, and NATO is a big part of that,” Peters said.  New Zealand has had a partnership with NATO since 2012, but the new deal is expected to foster much closer strategic alignment.

We are quickly becoming a vassal for America.

Winston who loves America almost as much as he loves himself plus a Minister of Defence with the nickname ‘Crusher’ (who has a long and twisted history of abusing political power), have fecklessly led us into an American War and we all have to pretend this is normal?

Documents show Defence officials have for months been pitching the benefits of joining the AUKUS military alliance.

Defence Minister Judith Collins meets her counterpart in Melbourne on Thursday and is expected to raise the prospect of joining the non-nuclear part of the deal – called Pillar 2.

…why are we pretending Winston and Judith and a weak Luxon sending Military personnel to select targets for America to bomb is reasonable and normal while we get sucked into the vortex of the latest Military Industrial Complex profit drive?

Do any of you honestly think Warmongers like Winston and Judith are operating in our  best interests as they meet the Military Industrial Complex Nazgul?

We should all be deeply alarmed at where Winston and Judith are leading us here!

This isn’t normal, and it should be criticised fiercely!

Yes, as a trading nation it is essential for our interests to see shipping lanes free and open.

No issue with that.

HOWEVER.

The solution we have jumped to by signing up to bombing one of the poorest countries on the planet is a disgrace and moral abomination!

We are in the “kill chain” now. That’s what our NZDF deployment will be doing.

We are helping select targets for America to bomb.

We may as well be pulling the trigger ourselves, so don’t you dare flinch when hear ‘kill chain’, don’t you dare pretend we won’t be killing people and destroying shit.

Again – want to keep sea lanes open, but bombing the Houthis isn’t the solution!

REMEMBER: We claim we are doing this to support the Rules based Order, yet Israel is committing an active ethnic cleansing war crime and we aren’t doing jack shit about that!

REMEMBER: The Houthis are attacking Red Sea shipping lanes BECAUSE Israel is committing a current ethnic cleansing war crime! If we want the shipping lanes open, we should be demanding an immediate Israeli ceasefire!

REMEMBER: Bombing the poorest country in the Middle East is not a solution, it’s an act of war!

Aside from the moral crime, the whole strategy is counter productive bullshit!

They insist their actions in the Red Sea will stop when Israel ceases its bombardments.

…so we are bombing a poor country and using tactics that will only strengthen the group we are attacking?

This entire adventure is an escalation in a region that desperately needs de-escalation and because Luxon is so weak, we have war dogs like Judith Collins and bloody Winston Peters, signing us up to a conflict where we are on the side of evil!
