I love French Existential Philosophy, French Art and French Culture.
I imagine it would have been very hard to get laid as a French Philosophy student in the 50s and 60s.
Every time they turned up for drinks at a Party, people would be like:

“Oui”.

You can see why the French invented Existential Post Modern Philosophy, after facing constant criticism for rolling over for the Nazis, the entire Nation created a whole new branch of Philosophy that undermined you asking the question in the first place.

So fuck the French, but we can still enjoy their culture and art until the planet burns, and when that happens we should use Paris as the kindling.
I am no fan of sport.
Don’t get me wrong.
I appreciate the skill set required to do what they do, but my hero’s are artists, philosophers, engineers, thinkers – not Sportspeople, but even I take time to watch the Olympics and it was an amazing journey.

There was magic, there was drama and there was naked dripping transphobia.
The Olympics are a hope that humans can compete in peace to be the best and like French Courage, it’s a nice idea that we pay lip service to as the planet burns and war crimes are committed by the West via Israel with an ease that makes France rolling over for the Nazis look brave.
Competitors getting sick from the sewage in the Seine manages to sum up where we are as a Planet more than anything else and nit was really cool that Israel was allowed to compete despite committing an active war crime and raping prisoners on CCTV.

Yes, with all signs of looming catastrophe eye-brushed from view, the 2024 Paris Olympics can be compared to the 1936 Berlin Olympics, where Fascism’s evil was so well white-washed that many who went actually “Heiled Hitler”. This time around, with media white-washing having broken all records and won gold for rebranding Fascist dogma, few at the Paris games would have had any idea it was well represented and that those who oppose it were barred from attending.

I’m really looking forward to the Olympic games when they play Kabbadi which is the national sport in Bangladesh and played in Pakistan and in China. 50 Million play Kabbadi. But really they are really the Eurocentric games and nothing more. Booting homeless people off the street and out of a vacant building, and busing them to somewhere else, despite some of them having jobs locally. Every time we must scrub up and get rid of those we don’t want who are cluttering up the place.
