  1. Here you are nearly 40 years after the fall of the USSR, still making excuses for Russian thuggery.

    1. Here you are again, making stupid assumptive statements instead of looking at the rationale behind someone else’s opinion then making an equal or more compelling case. Not very clever!

  2. One of the strategies of fake news and alternative facts, is to confuse and frustrate the public, and eventually to get them to disengage and stop paying much attention, let alone doing their own investigations or triangulation of the world affairs presented to them by corporate media.

The world owes Julian Assange for many of his group leaks. And while I have not followed Mr Navalny much, seeing him as more a faction leader than a freedom fighter, I did wonder, why with all the repeated references to “a deadly Soviet Nerve Agent” did he not promptly expire? Did they get the dose wrong, or attempt to make him suffer to rub the hit in? Maybe there was no hit.

  3. The Barraitser run trial was conducted in a mere magistrates court
Will the US appeal now go to a higher UK court?
Just checked that, and it seems the appeal will go to the high court, and possibly continue to the supreme court, with the European Court of Human Rights the last resort
    If Assange lasts that long
Thank you Malcolm Evans for shining such a light on the hypocrisy of our media, and clear obedience to 5 Eyes dictates
It’s so good to see one of our own disputing mass media messaging

  4. A very perceptive article detailing the power that legacy media exercises over the general public. One correction I have concerns your description of Judge Baraitser. She is a little known junior magistrate who was instituted as the mouth piece for the Senior Judge presiding over Julian Assange’s hearing, Emma Arbuthnot. It is Arbuthnot’s husband and son who have connections to the UK armaments industry and military.

  5. “The Biden administration has signalled that for now it is continuing its predecessor’s attempt to prosecute Julian Assange”.. I’m assuming that is referring to the Obama administration, as this was already up and running long before Trumpet was a gleam in Mitch McConnells eyes.. Bidens lack of humanity when it came to foreign policy, and security issues was demonstrated during his tenure as VP… The debate over whether the PR is better if they stick Assanges head on a pike, or do the “humane” thing and let him live in exile, and under perpetual surveillance is key..

  6. That’s a pretty crap nerve toxin, it doesn’t even do what it says on the tin…TWICE
