  1. I actually think this is an honest and genuine plan that the Trump administration have put forward. The problem is the administration is full of looney fuckwits and this miserable turd of a plan is the best these dull people can come up with. We should also remember the main and only aim Trump has is to win the Nobel Peace prize.

    1. Sleepy I think you are right – these people know of what they speak. Have to use what is close at hand and useful in emergencies. If Blair can help the Palestinians as well as himself let the little shit sit alongside the Orange wig – give him the Nobel prize for Peace; nothing is as it was in the present social climate along with the real climate.
Old child’s chant – ‘Jack be nimble, Jack be quick, Jack jump over the candlestick (while it is burning). We all need to be pretty nimble-minded. Or shut down with glazed eyes or very bright and derisive looks accompanied by sneers about people who worry about people.

  2. Sleepy H Are you serious – there is nothing honest and genuine about the plan. To put Blair and Trump to oversee this plan is to condemn the people of Palestine (it is a state Winston) to further atrocities and isolation.
How can you have a peace plan without the involvement of all parties, and you only had to see Trumps sickening announcement to feel for the people of Gaza. FFS wake up to what is happening worldwide with the war mongering being put on the masses by the Israel lobby and the war mongers. England detained George Galloway and his wife collectively for 9 hrs at the airport without legal representation, were not allowed to remain silent and if they refused to speak, they were automatically convicted. No trial no appeal. This is under a so called Labour party Government who arrested elderly protesters for carrying signs with Palestine Action. We must resist this fascist doctrine and fight back and it is starting in NZ with a bill to stop protest outside private homes. There will be more to come.

  3. Let’s wait and see.

The plan has some obvious deficiencies such as not having a specific time for an Israeli withdrawal and the need for a more definitive hand over from the Board to a Palestine administration.

But if these things can be sorted, then it is viable. Obviously a number of Arab states as well as Turkey think it could work.

I know many on the Left can’t stand Blair (though one would think Bush bears the main responsibility for Iraq). However, this plan will need a capable initial administrator to get things underway. It also would not surprise me if Helen Clark becomes involved as a bridge between the proposed governance Board and the UN. Her presence in New York last week was unlikely to be co-incidence.

  4. And who provided the bullshit intelligence on Iraq? Good old Israel. Bush, Blair and a bunch of dodgy Sodastream salesmen

  5. Choose your poison.
*Hamas releases all the prisoners within the 72 hour time-frame and Israel claims victory on the anniversary of October 7th to appease all the protesters in Israel.
*Hamas releases some of the prisoners as the 72 hour time-frame is unrealistic due to not knowing where they are all located due to the current genocide. Israel claims Hamas broke the agreement and goes feral on the anniversary of October 7th amid claims Hamas cant be trusted. (Most likely)
*Hamas releases the prisoners and Israel claims without evidence the dead were tortured and starved to death and refuses to uphold their part of the agreement. (Again most likely)
