The Liberal Agenda: NETFLIX REVIEW: Waco 2 stars
Don’t get me wrong.
It’s a solid Doco that takes you inside the madness for the Waco massacre.
The problem is that it starts way too late.
The opening has the ATF (Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms Police squad) bursting through the doors on the first morning when really the seeds for Waco were planted far earlier.
In the pantheon of fucked up American security goons with a dangerous sense of shoot first and ask questions second, the rankings are:
5 – Parking Wardens
4 – Airport Security
3 – LAPD
2 – ATF
1 – Military Industrial Complex.
The ATF are a Feudal vice squad drawn from the dumbest pricks ion America. Their brutal incompetence was a well known fact back in 1993 and the ATF were under intense scrutiny over a series of botched arrests and cases.
Fearing they were facing budget cuts, the ATF searched for a big media case they could use to drum up political support.
This is the horrifying truth of why Waco happened.
The ATF desperately needed a media event and aimed at a group of Christian Preppers in Waco to make their big bust.
They tipped off media to the raid and expected a big tough guy assault that would arrest crazy Gun toting Christians.
What is not clear is if these pumped up dicks opened fire first.
Such was the incompetence of the assault, 4 ATF died.
It was so embarrassing for authorities that they quickly decided force over negotiation and accidentally set fire to the compound when they attacked burning most to death.
The backlash to the American Government burning women, men and children to death at Waco came 2 years later when the Oklahoma Bomber paid the Feudal Government back by detonating a bomb on the same day they burned Waco.
The true level of fault on the American Government has never been truly acknowledged.

Yeah I watched it too, it was like watching a movie where all the Cops are stupid and corrupt.
Wat I didnt get was the way they threw pedophilia in there but didnt really substantiate it. I wasnt quite sure what they were aiming for – see he was a bad guy?
And also how did they know after the fact, that they had 52 million gazillion ammo rounds?
I was working in the UK at the time and whilst there are a few insights in the doco, it was low quality fare compared with broadsheet coverage in the UK. I remember hearing of the mass casualties after days of being told it was coming to an end and then thinking WTF did those idiots do now?
