The hypocrisy of Winston wanting to abolish Māori Electorates
Can we just pause here and remind everyone what a hypocrisy Winston Tiberius Peters truly is?
After running for Northern Māori and after the clean sweep in 96, now he wants to lie about the Māori Electorates to get rid of them???
We are about to be swamped by NZ First whero-neck mouth breathers screaming ‘1 person 1 vote’ to justify amputating the Māori electorates.
Firstly, it’s 1 person two votes in NZ, I can’t bother with clowns who are so racist they have to wrap that racism up in some bullshit argument about democracy when they don’t seem to understand the actual democratic system they are voting in.
Secondly, every claim Winston has made to end the Māori electorate’s has so far been a lie.
He claimed fewer Māori are going on the roll, that is a lie, 16,000 joined it since the last election.
Winston claimed that the majority of Māori aren’t on the Māori Roll, that is a lie, 51% of Māori are on the Māori Roll.
He claims that because Te Pati Māori have been disrespectful, all the Māori Electorates should be scrapped, well I despise Shane Jones so that gives me the right to bomb Parliament does it?
NZ Democracy is representative and the Māori Electorates are a unique feature of our democratic system that we should feel proud of, not attempt to mutilate.
Winston isn’t arguing for democracy, he is arguing for majoritarianism which is 2 wolves and a lamb voting on who is for dinner, the secret to Winston’s success has been a Māori who denigrates other Māori for the electoral excitement of the angry whites.
He is the worst type of traitor and he is hoping his lies will eclipse the hypocrisy of him running in those electorates!
What Happens If Māori Electorates Are Abolished?
Here’s the funny truth about this cross burning jamboree of an idea.
Where do you think those hundreds of thousands of Māori who are currently enrolled on the Māori Roll go?
Because NZ First voters are easily the most stupid in the country, I don’t think they have thought any of this through.
You do understand that the almost 300,000 Māori on the māori Roll would all have to be taken back into the general electorates right?
So we would go from having 65 electorates to 72, the majority would be in Auckland, Waikato/Bay of Plenty, Northland
and East Coast areas, and they would most certainly see huge gains for the Labour Party.
Electoral Consequences Heading Into Election 2026
The result of the race division that Winston and his NZ First mouth breathers want would bring about a Labour victory.
No-one seems to have told Winston this.
Electoral reform debates rarely stay theoretical. If the Māori electorates are abolished, the political ripple effects will not be symbolic — they will be mathematical. And mathematics has a habit of delivering outcomes politicians don’t always anticipate.
We need to put NZ Egalitarianism First, not Winston!
