  1. Is anyone asking about the background to the Waikato DHB situation? Tony Ryle appointed former National MP Bob Simcock as chair. Simcock then oversaw the appointment of Nigel Murray as CEO, after being warned of serious questions by senior MP Nanaia Mahuta. When the shit hits the fan Simcock disclaims all responsibility, and meanwhile Ryle has abruptly given up politics and gone to Simpson Grierson in a flash-sounding job.

    There are dots here that need to be connected, aren’t there?
