Thought about it, wondered now, not wanting extremism, but, hey.
Here is something that some of us have wanted to know for a long time. Who owns our land, here in Aotearoa. Radio NZ has just released the list of the top 50 private landowners. Nineteen of these (individuals and entities) are based overseas. Together these top 50 own a million hectares of land. New Zealand’s total land area is 26.8m ha.

There’s a limit to the amount of good expat NZ journalists that Aljazeera can absorb. (They’re competing on a global market doncha know and Stan Grant just landed from the ABC).
