1. New war crimes committed by NZ military?

   The first time ever that the use of white phosphorus in civilian areas of Iraq has been admitted to.Possibly a war crime, and our very own NZ Brigadier
   McAslan has admitted to its use in Mosul.
   Picked up by the NZ media, alternative or mainstream?

2. Why would NZ military be in Syria.

   Whats the bullshit to explain / justify supporting US against Syria and Russia.

3. I urge contributors to TDB (and even TS) to listen to Melanie Reid on RNZ Sunday and the discussion on the state of journalism.
   Despite the well-earned cynicism from a lot of us, there are still a few around who are genuine members of the 4th Estate. Some (journalists) are even hiding out in the MSM (but who quite obviously have big mortgages to pay and just working in survival mode – a hard place to be sometimes when principles are at stake – not that it’s an excuse).

   I wonder whether Hosking might try and do the old bad-mouthing trip
