I urge contributors to TDB (and even TS) to listen to Melanie Reid on RNZ Sunday and the discussion on the state of journalism.
Despite the well-earned cynicism from a lot of us, there are still a few around who are genuine members of the 4th Estate. Some (journalists) are even hiding out in the MSM (but who quite obviously have big mortgages to pay and just working in survival mode – a hard place to be sometimes when principles are at stake – not that it’s an excuse).
