Oh nice to read an overseas bottling company is going run a pipeline from Mt Aspiring down to the sea, so it can ship our pure fresh water off overseas. The mayor of the Westland region says locals are “ok with this” – Well they maybe, but I, as a New Zealander, sure as hell am not!

And you know since Pike River you just need to mention ‘West Coast’ and ‘Jobs’ and no one will say “boo’.
Its almost sacrilege to talk about stopping jobs down there.
If you wanted to introduce Nuclear Power plants in NZ the West Coast would be the place to go.
