  1. Watching the Ellis case Appeal in the Supreme Court. It needs more public attention to be paid to it.

      1. I think what also is exposed is the social damage that social media has encouraged. In ordinary life people would not be saying the things quoted, I certainly don’t hear such awful comment, but apparently it has become accepted that uncontrolled thoughts, OTT, can just be spouted out. It is an example of the childish thinking that many indulge in, adults in body but not having adult control, which must be behind so much of the domestic violence that is recorded. How to cope in a difficult world, how to control bad feelings – that should be something taught in schools, something as important to learn as geography!

A quote from the link above: “Traitors”; “plague rats”, “I hope you get Covid and die before you get home”; “we have to get sick because you are selfish?”; “go back to where you came from”, “burn your passport, you’re not a real Kiwi”; “you are complicit in burying a generation of the elderly”; “my social life is more important than you seeing your dying Dad” and “let them travel by ship to an offshore island for all I care.”

My suggestion – stay off social media, it’s bad for your mental health.

“Bravo to the whistleblowers and journalists for shining a light into this secret parallel system of capital, one open only to those with fat amounts of money and the greed to hoard it all untaxed, and those who facilitate it.
