If our government truly wants to reduce bowel cancer rates and deaths then they need to lower the age for screening and the free testing kit available. Its not easy to get a colonoscopy in this country and even harder if your a Maori. Speaking from experience I had to exaggerate to get one (despite them finding a polyp) and when I went to our local hospital it was full of foreigners making fall use of our health system, sad when we cant even get an appointment and have to fight just to get referred. The self testing should be dropped to 50 years for Maori and PI who have the highest rates of this cancer and are more likely to die.
I have heard reports of the large number of foreigners/r4ecent visa holders using our systems. Some who have received service and are billed appropriately don’t have the money for it or just refuse. The government have sold us down the river and we are up the creek without a paddle in a vulnerable state now that Covid is here, again brought to NZ by the ubiquitous tourist. We are all wet for sure.
It may be time for women to take a full month off all at the same time – to stop thinking and analysing about feminism and female/male and just getting on with being a great person. Hosanna for Personhood. Or to do a whole lot of reading and thinking about how to break out of being a target for notability-oriented schmoozers who are trying to steer females in a profitable direction for themselves, but who limit the brain function of recipients from growing into individuals who also have collective interests,

Some female comedians need to come up with something to challenge the Four Yorkshiremen – there must be enough history of women’s difficulties, highs and lows, to produce a good script. It would prove that modern feminists do have a sense of humour to equal the Pythons. Has there been one. Let’s see the youtube link.
I sincerely hope Labour are closely monitoring the situation in that so-called United Kingdom. There are “learnings” to be had in “that space”, “going forward”.
