We pay quite expensive fees to people and companies and contractors to do things in our country that we could and should so for ourselves. W e aren’t plutocrats – we are a step up from that but have to apply ourselves but seem to take a have-a-go fellers and wimmin, ‘We have no idea so you can’t be worse than us and we’ll pay you to give us an idea’. If we really don’t like it we are given the right to ask even demand, a consultation process which will cost us big gollars to advise us of decisions and opinions that we could have arrived at faster, over two meetings with an on-line poll as well which would have asked some straight questions about how many more traffic lights would we need, what cost could be expected and what justified, should we have an easy camera surveillance and charge a range of tolls, different fees for driving over choke points at certain times, to be paid weekly (not weakly).

‘s do it ourselves in whatever way we choose, with trialling. We are stuck in a rut and all these overseas people have convinced us that we need them – that is ruts so they have an excuse to come and fix them. They need us for their profit margin, and they get *most* of that.
