All in all, TDB gives punters a very, very, very wide space to comment in but we won’t bother with out right lies or gleeful malice. We leave that to the Herald comment section.

Well done the Local Government Minister appointing an observer to the Wellington City Council, even if tardily. The WCC will have to pay for this, but perhaps Tory can sell her car again. Ratepayers do not want to hear elected councillors labelled riffraff, immature, or needing big pants, when they disagree with Tory and co, instead of differences being discussed or debated as adults. We long term rate payers who’ve paid to keep the city ticking over much longer than many of those current councillors have, have been badly let down by them, and importantly, so has the capital city.
