  1. Farmers will be in need. They get their own Minister and funds to help. They also are committing suicide, so perhaps the help needs to be accessible before disasters.

Ordinary people have been getting hit by the government in many ways and have needed help for a long time. They should have a fund that they can apply to so they can improve their situation. It would be a grant for a project, and not repayable, not a loan. If successful and carrying the people especially family, out of difficulties to a more hopeful situation with pklan for the near future years, they could then apply for some free tertiary education. Doesn’t matter what race or ethnicity of permanent citizen, but there would be quotas so all can have a go, or go on to waiting lists. Let’s try to be an opportunities country not a deficiency one.

  2. Change name of loser, redundant, defunct department! WINZ out.   GAESINZ in – (Generating Active Entrepreneur Support and Income NZ/AO) – probably will be dubbed GAS for short, in a good way, or kidded about ie gays…

Some people won’t give a good return, but it won’t be a piece of cake for them after, they will have to turn in some solid results of working for a set amount of time before any more ideas got listened to.   There will be set case managers who will receive bonuses for success and encouraging words for each person whose lives improve.   And there will be a right for people to  move to another case manager if agreeable to both.

Hard nuts may be passed along to a police unit that oversees them into some skill or work experience, or teachers them to read and helps them in a personal project; achievement in their lives.  A change from frowning and hating attitude between police and miscreants eh.
