  1. GREAT STUFF MARTYN WE NEED THIS BADLY AS RNZ HAS CUT OUR VOICE OUT, (government interference we believe.)
WE ARE CIRCULATING IT TO OUR CONTACTS

  2. Do we and they get to see ‘ the same, neutrally-phrased questions’ ahead of the debate?

After the election will there still be a forum for these hopeful parties to stay in front of citizens in a broader way than dedicated websites? To actually have a fair shot at hitting the five percent threshold?

Will there be any differences made for the single issue parties compared with the more nuanced parties that are set up to cover most portfolios?

For the cash-strapped and smaller parties – will there be any help to ‘webify’ their material? Or is this to be a learning curve?

It’s a good idea. I like it. I hope there’s a replay planned and I hope the idea doesn’t fade away after. We fringe people aren’t that keen on the 5%ers currently on offer so an alternative parliament could be both fun and useful. A chance to try out co-operative politics, perhaps?
