Todays gratitude – Shout out Thursday to the Journalists who are holding the powerful to account and bringing us the information we need in a disinformation age of conspiracy and lies.

Todays gratitude – Shout out Tuesday to the families in shared care situations where children are separated from the normal routines and parental contact. Their hidden trauma makes a pandemic even more raw.
Todays gratitude – Shout out Sunday to the children who suddenly have their routine interrupted and are living with us under our nervous roofs. Their world has been turned up side down and they need our reassurances more than ever. Their joy is our hope.
Shout out Weekend to the lonely, those who are hurting in silence because their human connection has been removed due to this plague. Your adherence to the lockdown is saving lives and shortening our imprisonment. Thank you for the amputation of your liberty right now, your self sacrifice saves others.
Todays gratitude – Shout out Friday to the Journalists who are covering this pandemic and who are facing an unstable work environment that is destroying careers and devouring jobs. To cover this crisis in the morning when your job may be gone by the afternoon takes a special courage.
Todays gratitude – Shout out Wednesday to Dr Siouxsie Wiles and all the other academics & experts who have tirelessly tried to inform the scientifically illiterate us to the dangers we face. Their calm logic in the face of our fear is pure empathy.
Todays gratitude – shout out to Farmers who are unflinchingly working the land to keep the rest of the country fed. Your importance in protecting us builds a bond between the urban and the rural that has been frayed but is now celebrated.
Thank you Farmers.
