It’s not only economic pain, that lurks in the bushes waiting to pounce.
The Identity Politics Left are great at organising petitions on Action Station to free the nipple for PoC vegan cycling mommy bloggers and Trans Allies, but not so great at reconstructing the neoliberal hegemonic structures of the economy.
Unlike much of mainstream media with a penchant to jump from one headline to another, and in the process leave what was a supposedly a critically important issue yesterday; languishing unresolved, I prefer to stick with the knitting – until it’s possible to get some idea of what is being produced.
This IS still a Democracy.
Amidst such speculation two things are certain to me – our Government is spending up a storm and capitalism will prevail. These two certainties suggest to me a number of implications which might guide us in where we might be in a year or two from now.
My intention is simply to ask what I hope are relevant questions so that you are a bit better informed about what these smaller parties believe.
The nationwide shutdown has highlighted a number of anomalies in the way we run our economy . Our tax system is one of them .
