While some people couldn’t wait to get to McDonald’s and KFC on the move to Level 3 , others have discovered the joy of things like cooking, baking and gardening. We do have choices. We can change many things in our life or we can choose to remain the same.

One of the things I hope we will do as a nation in the post pandemic economy is to focus on being more self-sufficient as a country. There are lots of things we once made – like shoes and garments which companies outsourced to places like China and Vietnam where labour was cheaper.
This pandemic is a universal shared experience, and with all universal shared experiences, it will have enormous unseen ramifications throughout our culture, politics and economy.
It has been interesting to see the increasing fractiousness in the USA and UK over the question of when to re-open the economy.
