  1. Making cannabis legal gives credibility to those who maintain cannabis isn’t harmful. As an ex user, I now believe in actual fact it is harmful. I loved the stuff, but I haven’t smoked it for 30 years, and I’ll never smoke it again because of what it did to me.

I remember reading how Egypt regretted making it legal because of the bad effect it had on peoples work ethics. Those in power need to be really sure they know what they are doing before they consider making cannabis legal because in my experience it has effects that maybe aren’t recognized by casual users.

Good effects are possible like being able to see perfectly without glasses, for a short period. (which is now being studied) but I also experienced effects that aren’t so beneficial. I feel the average person or politician can’t possibly know enough about the possible negative effects of cannabis to be qualified to make a decision on the issue. I’m not being judgemental. Please don’t make it legal, it would be an awful mistake.
