    I read a book by Dr Fuhrman on how plant based diet could reverse heart disease. There are some pretty amazing turn around stories using his methods.

    Soy obviously is a no go, but he also avoids oils including olive oil, and cuts out additional salt which I found hard to believe. I tried one of his recipes which was a roasted broccoli + capsicum pizza on whole wheat pita bread. Surprised it worked well without salt or oil. We used real cheese as I’d recently tried cashew cream and figured vegan cheese wasn’t going to do it for me. That was the only non vegan thing but this was so delicious even the kids wanted it again.
