Election campaign turns ugly as Cameron Slater targets Māori organisations

As the election campaign intensifies, some of the worst tactics of New Zealand’s political past are resurfacing.
A familiar pattern re-emerges
The ongoing attacks by Slater against a Māori organisation continues.
Why this story is being platformed
This is the ongoing sad employment feud between Matt McCarten and MUMA that Matt gave to Cam because no one else in the mainstream media would pick uno the story.
Only Counterspin, The Platform, The Centrist and Duncan Garner would pick the story up, which kinda speaks volumes.
What credible reporting shows
Audrey Young’s forensic timeline of the break down between Matt and MUMA is the best explanation of what has occurred and I think it’s all pretty gutter stuff that is being dredged up now.
What I would say of Cameron’s coverage is that this is the bloke who only last months was trying to claim the loss of life at Mt Maunganui was due to co-Governance FFS.

Put aside all the sadism exposed in Dirty Politics, just look at what he was trying to pimp last month!
The coming election atmosphere
Slater is a bad faith actor of the most extreme type and so radioactive any interaction is toxic.
This election is going to be vastly more vile than anything we have experienced in the past and dragging Māori organisations through the mud will be part of that.

It gets uglier and uglier by the day with one of the very ‘worst of humans’, Slater, who is without moral fibre, compassion, and totally unprincipled! He is well known for his vitriole and racism – need I say more? Then news today, with Hipkins accusing Luxon of being “Anti the Treaty”, a claim Luxon vehemently denied. So, if that is the case he will back up his comments by not voting for Seymour’s Treaty Princpals Bill ? If he opposes it, it will be the single intelligent step he has taken since becoming PM! And there’s more, Luxon’s FTA with India is still not ratified. Again he will need to provide proof, that this FTA will not bring more immigrants into NZ while we have a serious lack of jobs already!!!! Put your money where your mouth is Luxon and please, no more photo shoots – yawn.
In my book, “vile,” can only be used once.
Let’s move on from the Terrorist Tekahika phase.
We could have an election season that is less muddy than past ones?
I look forward to the Shysters sleaze bag organizing a Hikoi march on the corporates bastion of power and authority the Beehive in wellington…oh and the peoples house Parliament that spends its time enacting their corporate paid for legislation they insist …………they have a mandate to enforce.
Slater = Slug!
