  1. Once again all fair points, but the destruction of real wages is primarily because housing costs have been removed from the CPI, and wage increases tend to be based on the CPI (or if you are Talleys, you might use the lower of the wage price index and CPI as you really have no morals).
    Research shows CPI is half of what it would be if calculated using the same methodology as was used in 1980 before this neoliberal nonsense started. So real wages have been declining for decades.
    Where is the outcry over that.
