    Disagree. Of course education and environment have a lot to do with it, and we do have a very rough culture regarding physical violence in New Zealand, and I would venture to say in Australia, also.

    Having said that, this study is obviously wrong also. To blame it simply on that is ridiculous. Alcohol obviously plays a big role in violence in our society. Alcohol doesn’t “make” you violent, people are violent naturally, alcohol simply inhibits our impulse control. But it definitely does do that. Which obviously increases incidents of violence.
