  1. Sepuloni needs to correlate the rtw stats with stats for the increase in working for families tax credits which help keep us a low wage economy and therefore subsidise employers.

    How many such subsidised businesses are owned by the New Zealand immigrants who appear to ruthlessly exploit their workers, and by off-shore entities, could also help clarify who is benefiting here, and why the gulf between the haves and have-nots has not been ameliorated, and why so many children are still living in the
    “ child povidy” which this government so touchingly vowed to make a thing of the past, instead of pointing the struggling and the hungry in the direction of food banks run by good and decent people, and of other volunteers, trying to improve the day to day lives of unfortunate others. One stand alone stat like this says little.
