  1. Between 1965 and 1985 Indonesia banned the use of Chinese script in newspapers and public signage to combat foreign influence. NZ currently bans RT as it’s designated enemy propaganda.

  2. Perhaps a Mandarin speaker in the community could translate or pass on these newspapers so any contentious content could be presented to the appropriate minister and asked “Are you advised of this by the security services and what action do you intend to take?”
    Sounds like a good topic for an investigive journalist to take on. Remember them…
