  1. Like your analyses. Don’t always agree, but it’s good stuff. By the way, the protest vote won’t all go to Brown, and I am rising in the polls. I was a big winner here too. When it’s down to Collins v Brown, and the 2 lumbering giant machines, then I will sprint through the middle. Metros odds for me should change from 10,000 to 1, to 50 to 1 at this point.

  2. Real shame about Leo. It’s a mistake to think of anyone voting for him being the angry mob as some in the Herald believe. Far from it. And I think he is spot on, Collins, he has never detached from the public umbilical of life after university. Another chip off the current “can’t do cis we’ve never done anything but politics” Labour block that has proven so useless.

Agree that Viv should also quit, but if course she won’t. A female version of Phil “dollar each way” Goff, again, an ineffectual character that will only enhance the current malaise. Her résumé at Heart of the City is one giant red flag. It’s now so bad even Brian Tamaki knew better than to use Queen St as his protest forum de jure as the “heart” has ceased beating.

It’s going to be a dead rat swallowing occasion for mayor this time around!

  3. Well I was going to vote for Leo thinking he might make the thousands of ac bureaucrats on $200k salaries work for their pay or take a pay cut. Sad.

  4. Ted Johnstons response is hysterically funny – are you aware he is keen in the central government election to sell his soul to.the devil & join with Tamaki …. check out NCs facebook page. You will then have to call him.out as an anti vaxxer …

  5. “…a crime encrusted shit hole with groaning infrastructure gridlock amidst a cost of living crisis that is never ending.”
    Welcome to stage 1 collapse
