‘Doing a Luigi Wewege’ – is a term used to describe a tactic by right wing activists who sleep with a woman to gain politically damaging information to smear and attack a person in public.
It was coined after the infamous ‘Luigi Wewege’ who was a political advisor to John Palino in the last Mayoralty election and who while sleeping with Bevan Chuang was actively encouraging her to tape her sex with Len Brown for him to then use.
‘Doing a Luigi Wewege’ is considered one of the more foul tactics used by right wing activists in their pursuit for power.
That’s a dumb name. I think we should rename it “shoulder a wonking”
What about the more anglified “WeegeeWewege”?
e.g. “Jordan did a WeegeeWewege”
The technique or practice is probably as old as human “civilisation”, where there have been endless stories of both men and women going to bed with a partner, simply in order to get their trust and enter their most intimate privacy.
Spies still use it these days, as we see, politically motivated persons do it to get access to information, or to manipulate others to cause great damage to others.
They did this in the times of the Romans, of the Babylonians, of the ancient Egyptians and in medieval times also.
Dirty politics is the proof that New Zealand has caught up with the rest of a corrupted world, where any means seem acceptable to reach an anticipated goal or outcome.
As for what this post may suggest, I suppose it is left to the reader to speculate on. I do note, NO names are mentioned by the ones of such that had already been outed for such alleged deeds or some form of involvement to such incidents.
