1. U.S.A annexes Canada. Introduces a new population of over 40 million people. Population used to idea of universal free healthcare, fair taxation, functioning welfare state, non-aggressive foreign policy, sensible firearms ownership, accepting of migrants, acceptance of gender and sexuality, females can reproduce, or not, according to their desires.
   Will each Canadian Province become a state? Will there be North Alberta and South Alberta with their representatives in Congress and Senate? Will adult Canadians vote like redneck Americans?
   Could Canada end up owning the USA?

2. What about cutting usa down to a smaller more manageable size, sort of ‘The Plains to the Sea.’ Cut it in half running north to south. So along the western side of the two Dakotas, Nebraska, Kansas, all that goes into the eastern side of the states. Oklahoma and Texas adjust borders with the narrow corridor being widened as agreed
   between them; Texas shrinking with Mexico receiving useful land back so Texas becomes a smaller entity which serves them right. USA can learn much from Palestine’s wishful border plans.

3. Now make the remainder part of Mexico.

4. Civilisation advances.

5. Canada and Mexico together at last.
   Both get to work together without having to negotiate the toxic US political landscape.

6. Wisconsin, Michigan and Illinois should probably also be part of the new northern country.
