1. Why are there no child- bearers in this picture ? Where are the women who endure the pain and agony of childbirth and undertake the care and nurturing of children even if it half-kills them?
   Where are the women? Where are they ? Why six boys ? Where are the girls?

2. ‘Brown takes his place with the scruffs at his school.’

   I think these boys really think he’s a bit of a joke. They’d have tucked their shirts in and stood up straight if they’d felt he was worth the effort.

   1. No it shows solidarity – they think he’s just like a big brother who has ‘got on’, they don’t have to put on a show – he’s one of them or vice versa plus.
