…Luxon has used the terrible extreme weather damage like some never ending PR game where if he looks like an Action Man, voters will forget he scrapped the $6billion climate adaptation budgets and has declared war on the environment with fast track powers, bullshit methane standards and more fucking cows.

For the very first time, Kiwis are realising our denial of climate change is no longer feasible.

The achiless heel of free market capitalism was always the vast amount of pollution it wastefully creates.

The Atlas Network is funded by Big Polluters to manipulate culture war hatred into tricking voters into supporting their climate denial.

The Taxpayers’ Union and their stable of clients help promote those climate denial lies.

The Taxpayers’ Union keep raging against council spending, but mush of that is now repairing the flood and storm damage that is occurring.

Look, I appreciate you don’t want to admit you were wrong about climate change, I aknonwdge you hate having to agree with the Greens, and that you get sexually aroused by your fucking Ute’s, but story be over kids, and climate change and all the horror it brings is now upon us.

There needs to be an urgent adult discussion on what the bloody hell we are going to do because cutting $25million from Civil Defence, burning all our environmental protections and dumping a $6billion fund SPECIFICALLY CREATED TO RESPOND TO EXTREME CLIMATE CHANGE EVENTS are not a fucking solution you clowns.

Look, here is why I am right and you are wrong.

IT’S GOING TO GET MUCH, MUCH ,MUCH WORSE!

We are in the age of consequences now, the extreme weather conditions only get worse from here on in, we need urgent adaptation strategies now.

We need a public insurance process.

We need radically different building standards, we need rail, we need free public transport, we need a cap on bloody cows, we need new domestic sea travel investment, we need to create a subsidy for NZ food for the domestic market, we need 100% electrification, we need urgent electricity industry reform and Nationalisation, we need urgent investment in RSAs and Marae’s as central focus points during extreme weather events.

We need urgent investment into the Green Economy and all the jobs that will create.

We need solar panels and local micro electricity generation.

We need tidal generators.

We need to tax the rich to pay for all of this.

The disconnect between news stories on the extreme weather events we are seeing and their connection with the global warming future we are locked into thanks to human pollution continuing the warm the planet beyond tipping points that once breached can’t return from – is a chasm.

The reality vs our weaponised apathy.

The distance between what is actually happening in an age of consequences vs deliberate ignorance.

Human pollution since the steam age has spiralled global temperatures beyond points that the biosphere can come back from.

We are seeing the reality of that in real time.

In 1980, the time between billion dollar climate destruction events was 3 months.

It’s now 18 days.

There is a point where the next destructive weather event strikes before you can rebuild from the last one.

We are meeting an Age of Consequences with a culture of wilful blindness.

These heatwaves are going to become the normal background of an ever warming planet, Climate Change is here and now, the ramifications of our denial only exacerbates the damage.
