The Government is scrapping the 30-day rule that automatically signs an employee up to the collective agreement when they sign on to a new job. NZEI is calling for a $2.5 billion boost to support for children with disabilities, including $1b to put a teacher aide in every classroom. Briscoes and Rebel Sport workers have rejected a pay deal that includes increases that are lower than cost-of-living increases.
