Helen Clark calls Government response to Iran strikes ‘disgrace’

Former Prime Minister Helen Clark has labelled the New Zealand Government’s response to the situation in Iran a “disgrace”.

“It knows full well that international law has been breached even though negotiations on Iran’s nuclear capability were underway,” she posted on Instagram.

“It knows that US walked away from the last nuclear agreement with Iran. Why the servility? I guess we know.”

…let’s just be very clear here for those too young to know the history.

The only reason we have a Theocracy in the first place is because  in 1953, America staged a coup to over throw Mohammad Mosaddegh as the first democratically elected Prime Minister because he wanted Iranian Oil for the Iranian people.

America refused to allow the democratically elected representative of the Iranians to prevent them from exploiting the oil there so simply overthrew his Government and put in place a ruthless leader who created so much hostility through his brutal reign that the Islamic Revolution was preferable.

It is outrageous that after creating the Theocracy, that America is now waging an illegal war against it because of a nuclear programme that had been dealt to by Obama and with which Trump had ripped to pieces.

America created the Theocracy via their illegal coup in Iran, Obama cut a deal with the Theocracy on their Nuclear programme, Trump tore that deal to pieces and has now just committed an illegal act of conflict after illegally kidnapping Maduro.

And our Government’s response is to appease Trump like simpering cowards.

I am no apologist for the Iranian Theocracy, I detest religion in politics and have zero sympathy for their brutal human rights abusing regime, just as I did with the Maduro regime, but what Trump is doing here, in order to divert attention from the Epstein Files, is to corrode the rules based order further and potentially start a regional conflict that will trigger a civil war and generate millions of refugees that will destabilise wherever they flee to.

This is madness, and it is an insanity built upon the greed of American Oil and Ego.

He’s rushing this because Cuba is next and he wants them all done and dusted before the Soccer World Cup and Midterms.

Our Government are appeasing quislings.
