Good, great, but we didn’t need a Professor to tell us that hungry kids won’t be healthy kids, and that hunger and sickness, and deprivation are an obstacle to learning and skill acquiring and original thinking and problem solving, and the community participation and cohesiveness which is what school is all about, but which may not be what Seymour and co want.

  2. ACT doesn’t want a well-educated population. That would be counter-productive to their aims and hold up their big plan.
