  1. We went to see Moana and there were some older Pacific people there and after the movie it sounded like they were approving.

The only thing odd was that Maui had the body of a ripped, 300kg rugby league player and the face of a 300kg sweet eater.

    1. Sounds like a must see Martyn Thanks for that.

I should take my part Māori (Ngati Porou) Grandson also mate.

    2. as a white 65 year old pakeha I say it is long past time something like Moana made it to the international screens.

So to Disney I say Well done I am definitely going to see it.

  2. There’s nothing in NZ with an up beat ending – for the moment.
It’s up to the children to protect their piece of Gaia ’cause the adults are not standing up for their future and demanding change:

I hope Walt and Moana know the punchline.

      1. Helena;

Good on you for targeting kids/youth. But we should all be taking action.

The radiation map of Fukushima is astounding/shocking/outrageous.!!

Where are the Greens on these matters? Found wanting again.!

        On the last 1080 link, I don’t know where Prosser gets his maths from;
        54 possums out of 124,000 in last 10yrs is 0.000435% not 0.04%.!!!

The international standard for TB free is 0.1(high in my opinion) but
the figure for cattle prevalence is 0.001%.!! ie;100x less.!!!

There is something very, very smelly about this situation/scandal.

There is the maths again. 18 pigs out of 7700 is 0.0023% not 0.25% !!!

Here is a summary result of above ‘Transmission Trial.’

Looks pretty shonky to me. With 0.00043% prevalence I find this action
outright irresponsible/outrageous given the devastation to come in
cleaning up the mess with 1080.!!

It is my understanding that this 1080 business is owned or partnership
by a MP or ex-MP plugging into milions of tax payers money.

        and-possums/

With both our evidence posted together here where is the investigative reporter?!!!

        Cheers.

        1. Thank you Iain McLean for your brilliant figures.
Yep. Class Action Law Suit. It’s on the boil.
1080 poison leaching into water tables is a major factor why only 45% of our rivers and lakes are clean enough for swimming. As long as NZ remains NZ Inc there will never be an investigative report nor will NZ be clean and green. All by design. To borrow an expression from the little fat man, very soon the vast majority of NZers will be “pissed off” enough to stand up and say enough is enough and boot the thieves out.

        2. Investigative reporters have been silenced on Fukushima:
          http://alexanderhiggins.com/corporate-media-admits-5-years-fukushima-fake-news/
and given their silence it would appear they have bought into the clap trap propaganda of government regarding 1080.
Only in NZ are people threatened with fines for paddle boarding near an Orca http://www.newshub.co.nz/home/new-zealand/2016/09/kayaker-faces-jail-time-for-orca-swim.html

  3. Mr. Bradbury, your elitism is showing and showing badly. I found your smugness about corporate America a total turnoff. Disney’s take on other cultures is at least attempting to draw young people’s interest to those they, otherwise, would never meet. Without these stories, enjoyably presented, would we likely be seeing children and some adults traipsing to the library, or voraciously digging through the Internet to learn about Pacific Islander people or Pocohantas, et al? I doubt it. Then you further denigrate yourself by superfluously flinging off the name of Christ to show your disgust, ignoring the fact that some might find this offensive. And just to show you are a bona fide liberal, you choose a crude word to emphasize your point. Is your vocabulary that destitute that you cannot find more suitable words? And does everything have to have a political overtone? Can’t you just enjoy a movie for what it is?

    1. I have a question. When was a movie ever “just a movie”.
ANYWAY who cares? Hollywood hype and his-story/her-story their story is over rover. Welcome to the Republic.

I have another question. When will New Zealanders take over the land and declare Sovereignty and Democracy?
As sovereign be-ings Messrs Bradbury and Keeley you can pretend to be whatever you like – even elitist if that’s what grabs you.
Wait’ll you hear, read and see earth and humanity’s REAL history!!!
