  1. I think the PM shouldn’t really have a choice, RNZ and TVNZ are both State funded and all Ministers should appear on these programmes at one time or another in any year. I think Seymour won’t interview with the 4 to 6 programme with Lisa.

  2. Luxon was shoulder-tapped, put in charge by the Board of Directors and the blessing of influential party members. The CEO model. Trouble is he’s wooden. But Luxon’s no fool. He knows his weaknesses and doing public relations in one of them. He won’t last. The swing voters don’t like a wooden figure who won’t front. The caucus leadership will look to replace him. But with who?

Least we forget it were the swing voters who ditched Labour – and they’ll ditch National too. That looks a likely scenario with the follow up shit show that MMP offers.

  3. Speaking of being held to account, look at the utter hypocrisy and complete lack of integrity in Mark Mitchell…

    https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/an-ipca-report-ms-z-and-36-emails-police-minister-mark-mitchell-on-the-jevon-mcskimming-saga/DCPOH6GXXBFZVC6WSSZGS5EPLU/

Well Mark Mitchell said he’d resign if crime didn’t drop in his first year. It’s actually increased despite the governments get tough on crime and their manipulation of statistics to make themselves look better.
Now the 500 more police is in jeopardy. No wonder he’s keeping a low profile.
The truth is at the end of this coalition governments term, they’ll be 1,000 sworn police down than when they took office.
    And that’s a fact.!!!
So Labour increased police numbers by 1,800 in 6 years. That’s all being wasted under Luxon.

RESIGN NOW MARK MITCHELL AND SHOW US YOU ARE A MAN OF INTEGRITY. Or are you just “aspirational” in terms of integrity.

  4. This chicken failed to meet with lower down Air NZ staff too, (the ones who actually do the work), once he realised they weren’t as ignorant as he thought they’d be, or as easy to impress. He doesn’t like explaining himself to those he deems unworthy.
Happy to accept the accolades when it’s all going well but reluctant to front up to explain his unpopular decisions.
Fluffs up his feathers and stalks away.

      1. No-one is threatening anyone Trevor and if you and your family were being threatened you might decide to do that too.

        1. Trevor’s just turned into a bitter old right wing troll. So Luxon quit his job when he became unpopular at Air N.Z. Shit happens but now we can understand why he quit.

    1. But I don’t think we have enough buses for that. Order some more, to be red. now! Make it so. Or wait till after Christmas, First get the reindeer and sledge job over and the Christmas rubbish wrappings tidied.

Perhaps big rubbish trucks from Auckland in lieu of buses – we might get them at a knock-down price after their failed project. Let’s be sharp in 2026 and go for micro advantage. Slip into the circus by crawling under the Big Top, and look for items with a return fee, pick through the rubbish for worth and value, sort and then recycle, recycle everything that has goodness still in it.

    1. Possibly Luxon would want a pine-apple. Feeling washed up needs zing, a passion-fruit. Could do with something summery like a tomato in the face, good for his skin, of which we see so much. He is looking a bit deflated, and saggy-eyed.

    2. Maybe because he is supposed to be a leader and leaders front. FFS. What a vacuous question. Clearly of similar ilk.

  5. We all know Luxon is a coward but our media also are cowardly and simply watch doing absolutely NOTHING for the decent people in NZ. All we can do for now is keep reiterating our concerns and have faith that the ‘uncaring’ voters finally get the message. Luxon is NOT a Christian however much he pretends he is. He doesn’t give a hoot about anyone or anything – just his selfish, self-entitled needs. In the end justice will prevail.

  6. Stumbled upon a Big Hairy News interview with Dame Marylin Waring about this chicken.
Wow, she’s prepared to break eggs!

Why can’t we have politicians of her calibre anymore?

Sorry, too dumb to put a link but not hard to find on you tube.

  7. It is a wise man who knows his limits .zLuxon is not the best at a one on one especially with an interviewer like Jack Tane .He had Jacinda on the types and she was well educated in the skill of debate .

      1. You would think a Pomme would have good English. Clearly not. But as Australian Paul Hogan wrote ” I’ve been around quite a while now. In fact, I’ve just clocked up 83 years, and a lot has happened in that time. Only 234 years since the First Fleet deposited Britains “rubbish” on these shores(same in NZ). Paul went on to say the First Nation people- the true Original Australians weren’t even counted as people( much like Maori) by the English. To this day Trevor despises the Maori Party and Maori in general, that much is clear.

      1. He has been interviewed by Tame before and his answer to the first serious question was…in a condescending tone…..”Jack Jack Jack” ….or in other words.. i don’t have a coherent answer…

Key used to use…” Let’s just take two steps back”…. and then proceed to not answer the actual question.

        National= no idea

    1. Once a a coward.. always a coward.

Remember during the last election campaign he chickened out from debating Chippy in Christchurch when the opportunity presented itself.

      No courage of convictions …gutless
      .
Just spouting meaningless corporate jargon whilst crouched down behind the couch…

      What a leader !!!

..That was a big fat canary in the coal mine right there!
