McGee’s audacity, Chhour’s Karen tears and Simon Courts outrage – ACT are easily triggered snowflakes over Haka Punishment
The Champions of free Speech ACT Party all stood to make the most vile of points in the debate for the Māori Party MP punishment.
Simon Court – the great free speech champion hypocritically kept leaping to his feet to find offence at people saying mean things about how racist his party was. He’s such little Karen demanding to see the manager.
Nicole McGee – Listening to McGee complain about process when she is trying to ram gun change through would be laughable if she wasn’t so dangerous.
Parmjeet Parmar – Had the audacity to play multiculturalism to justify why she wanted to imprison Māori MPs. She is so hateful.
Karen Chhour – She cried Karen tears and begged why everyone can’t work together, while then calling for the most extreme punishment ever handed out.
They are all despicable and worthy of our never ending contempt.
REMEMBER – if you are ever in a position where you are serving any of these people, you kinda have a moral obligation to spit in their food.
Let’s not forget, this Haka happened because of the deeply racist Treaty Referendum Bill their Party brought to Parliament, that’s why there was so much righteous fury!
They brought a racist bill to the very heart of NZ Democracy and then wanted to whine about why they were getting so much heat for it.
It’s like an arsonist demanding to know why you are so upset with the fire they lit.
The fact a middle class white woman like Brooke can say the C word in Parliament and that’s ok vs a Haka to reject a racist piece of legislation equating to the end of Western Civilisation highlights the double standards.

I see that RNZ has a poll with majority support for the penalty against TMP however since a majority voted for the current mess of a government that is meaningless. While I think that the haka is overdone at times it was perfectly appropriate for the end of that bill.

Some superb speeches from a few politicians, especially Adrian Rurawehe (well-worth re-hearing) and others who spoke against the ‘punishment’ – Swarbrick, Davidson, Jackson, Ferris, Packer, Waititi, Maipi-Clarke.
Once returned to Opposition – sooner rather than later – these right-wingers have set a very significant punishment precedent that they have now given licence to be used against them.

At one point, it looked as if Mcgee was going to sing Rule Britannia and Chhour was about to prostrate herself before the speaker. Winstone did his outraged Grumpy Old Man act in defence of democracy while ignoring it.
It is just so appropriate that there is a Mrs Parmar in a party full of absolute wankers.

Karen Chour is a product of that system just as those who end up in prison are, for better or worse we’d be better off if more people that go through those experiences follow her path into politics.
