…all he is doing by attacking Labour and te Pati Māori is handing political ammunition to the right. No wonder he took a movement off hundreds of thousands and alienated 99% of them!
It’s interesting that Ngāpuhi, Mariameno and Eru are continuing this line that they were insulted that te Pati Māori didn’t come up and hui with them because if everyone remembers correctly, there had been a lot of threats online aimed at Debbie and Rawiri if they had appeared.
They didn’t turn up because the level of abuse and threats online didn’t make for a conducive environment for discussion.
It’s funny how everyone is on one hand screaming at each other to work together while relitigating all the ways they have been insulted.
It feels like there are no adults in the Marae.
This election matters more than any other in a. generation. If National, ACT and MNZF get to cement into place their 19th Century white settler privilege, Māori political aspirations will be blunted for a decade.
Now is not the time for ego and division, now is the time to work together and all paddle in the same waka.
