  1. Great, a transfusion of pep and commitment. Labour lost an election after trying to do the right thing by the country, but got mixed up thinking the word was company, and failing to get the team working together for the people as well as big business.. But it was a near thing and they haven’t had the right team spirit since 1984, so take heart and practise those moves. Be like the Northland Going* Brothers with their rugby moves, and their spirit which took them to the top.

(Shades of Hotel California – – So I called up the Captain, “Please bring me my wine.”
He said, “We haven’t had that spirit here since nineteen sixty nine.”
And still those voices are calling from far away, Wake you up in the middle of the night
    Just to hear them say
    — YES we will repeal the Raggy Regs Bill!!

  2. The government has rescued school attendance. Why let Hipkins wreck it again?

    1. The actual data suggests otherwise … but why let the facts get in the way of your bullshit eh mate?

      1. Covid was well over when Hipkins failed, but you’ll keep finding excuses, won’t you Clive.

        1. You’re yet to provide evidence Ennius that ” government has rescued attendance ”

You may have swallowed the proverbial right wing hook.

    2. 70% is not rescuing attendance is it .If 98% attended we would need more schools so ther is no way this government wants attendance much higher .Why go to school to be dumbed down by the corporations who just want to exploit you for profit .

  3. Why a hundred? There is no reason to debate this for even ten minutes. Let alone allow it to last for 10% of a parliamentary term.

Ten days. Better yet, within the first hour on the first day, with anyone speaking in opposition being sentenced to be horse-whipped by the Privileges Committee through majority vote. Turnabout is fair play.
