Andrea Vance defended herself well in this weeks Sunday Star–she said she was “sorry”–sorry that media and politicians focused on her statement rather than the “terrible injustice” being done to care workers, nurses, teachers and other underpaid women. She pointed out that she used the C word in the sense of those prepared to be a C***, she never said anyone was or is a C*** and neither did Labour. Free Speech for Act except when they do not like what is being said!

    Brooke Van Velden will likely wear “cunt” in some form or another for the rest of her political career.

    1. As Martyn alludes to, if you don’t want to called a c*** don’t look, act and talk like one.
      Brooke would do well setting up her own high end fashion label “Cunt” based on her loathsome and heinous dress sense.
      If her own label offends her, she could always call it Cnut or some equally clever variation of cunt in disguise.

  3. What medieval English people could have realised that a word in common usage would have such effect in the 21st century?
    They did not have tea so it would have been a tempest in an ale jug.
    Are we ever going to get back to the real topic of inequality of income for women? Of shall we get sidetracked into another quarrel about biological women versus transfemales?

  4. Bring back Jacinda she actually cared about every KIWI not jus the 1% and would not have allowed this bill to have been rushed through for no other reason than covering the fact that Willis cant count past 3 billion .
