    Get our freight back on rail is a good start.

    As trucks are found to be emitting 12 times the amount of CO2 and particulates than rail freight carrying the same weight of freight the same distance.

    Half the pollution emitted from trucks, is particulate emissions that come from truck tyre and brake dust, which has now been detected as far away from NZ as previously thought.

    Tyre and brake dust is now found on our Antartica Ice caps, and is melting them at alarming levels now.

    Same is found on the Artic region too.
