Israeli influence in NZ Judiciary deeply concerning
John Minto’s exclusive on the manifestly unjust sentence handed out to a Kiwi bloke who had a punch up with the IDF asks big questions of Israeli influence over our judicial system.
Any one else convicted of a punch up in a pub would not be facing two and a half years in prison!
Let’s be very clear, I am not endorsing violence.
No matter the provocation and outrageous behaviour of the IDF, you can’t start fights in pubs.
It was unacceptable of this guy to have started a fight, he had to be punished, but punishment for a first offence assault in a pub is usually a fine with community service, it sure as Christ isn’t two years and four months inside prison!
Some of the important questions we need the answers to:
- Who in the police was contacted by the Israeli Embassy to apply this pressure?
- How was this conveyed to the police investigating the assault?
- Did any NZ politicians contact the police to apply pressure by “asking about progress in the case”?
- Were any government ministers or MPs involved?
- Were the police told “Israel and the US are watching us” so make sure you go hard on this one?
- Why was the usual police procedure overridden with an “expedited legal proceeding”?
- Why did the police seek a seven-year sentence for a punch by a first time offender?
- Have the police ever sought such a sentence before in any circumstances? If so give us the details of the case?
- Why have the police and the courts allowed their roles to be politicised on behalf of a racist apartheid state whose leader is wanted for trial at the International Criminal Court for war crimes and crimes against humanity?
You can’t throw a Kiwi inside jail for 2 and half years for punching a member of the IDF!
Ironically this is a disproportionate Israeli level response!
When the subject of identifying Israeli military personnel first arose I recall that Nathan Fucksboysky, Gaby Mesabitchstein and Zelda Weirdsburg quickly said that their boys would swiftly use their IDF training to subdue any physical aggression and beat the crap out of anit-semites’.
Yuval is evidently in the IDF Cosmetic Sales Section because he got his teeth knocked out and needs his Embassy to kiss him better.
Hitting these people is the wrong idea (enjoyable and justifiable although that may be) because law, the police, unprovoked attack, pressure to look good for Zionists and Septic Tanks yada yada yap yap.

Of course if we closed the Israeli Embassy and told anyone with an Israeli Passport to fuck off there is no problem.
Having worked in bars for years, it was rear for a fight to be caused just by one side. Like hen’s teeth rear. Most of the time it was a bit of niggle between parties, then mouthing off, then pushing, then a fight. I found the account in the paper unbelievable in it’s portrayal of the incident. Yes, yes, it’s common for one side to say they did nothing, but reality does not work like that.
Two years and half years is just wrong. I say that as someone who became disabled because of an assault. One moment of madness is just that one – not a tool to repeatedly destroy a persons life which this prison sentence will do.
There is this one other small matter to consider.
If the Israeli’s are tampering with our functionality then shouldn’t the Governor General and The Crown be made aware?
It’d give King Charles something to occupy his mind with other than his dull little perv brother behaving like a dull little perv.

Two years should be the minimum for this type of assault. It was more than “just a punch up in a pub”, it was an unprovoked violent attack by a thug who was looking for an excuse to bash someone, given the nature of the attack I doubt it’s the first time he’s done this, just the first time he’s been caught. This thug is using the Gaza conflict as a shield to justify his actions, guys like this look for opportunities to bash people.

My experience and the experiences of those I know would suggest that the IDF member contributed to the situation as they have an entitled attitude and often seek to inflame situations. Alcohol is another factor as we don’t have any reliable evidence regarding the intoxication of either person. It should not be used as an excuse however the punishment appears to be substantially more than other cases of assault.
