Gaza‘s growing death, injury and sickness

The total numbers of killed and wounded in Gaza by Israel since 7 October 2023 are: Killed 71,795 and Wounded 171,551.

Since the start of the Gaza ‘ceasefire’ the Israeli Occupation has killed 536 Palestinians and injured 1,424.

The past 24 hours (as above) have seen 26 more killed and 68 more wounded

Since dawn, Israeli air strikes, live–fire and tank–shelling, have seen 26 more killed and 68 wounded. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 84 and, that of those injured, is more than 202. A UN report states that, as of 14 January 2025, around 70% of those killed in Gaza were women and children.

West Bank

Since 24:00 on 7 October 2023, Israeli Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure on the West Bank, preventing residents and other permit-holders from neither entering nor leaving.The Israeli military also imposes severe and highly variable travel restrictions on all residents.

Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded: Jerusalem – 08:40, Israeli Occupation forces opened fire, from the Annexation Wall near the town of Al-Ram, on people trying to make their way to work in the city. One person, Tariq Wael Saleh Saqr, was wounded and hospitalised.

Israeli Army attack – terrorism: Jerusalem – 00:40, an armed Occupation settler, near the eastern entrance to the village of Al-Issawiya, opened fire on Muhammad Adnan Mahmoud’s vehicle, causing his pregnant wife to suffer convulsions.

Israeli Army attack – 2 children wounded: Ramallah – 15:55, Israeli forces, firing live ammunition, raided the Jalazoun refugee camp, wounding two children, one of whom is named as Adam Muhannad Al-Zubaidi (aged 15).

Israeli Army attack: Ramallah – 16:10, armed Israeli settlers opened random fire, on the outskirts of Turmusaya.

Israeli Army attack: Nablus – 13:50, the Israeli Army, firing live ammunition and stun grenades, terrorised local residents.

Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded: Bethlehem – 19:50–22:10, Israeli troops raided the village of Fukin and opened fire on Palestinian workers who were attempting to cross into Israel to work. One the workers was wounded.

Home invasion and forced personal demolition: Jerusalem – the Israeli Occupation forced a resident, Muhammad Atiya Al-Razem, to destroy his home in the Wadi Qaddum area of ​ Silwan – or otherwise be forced to pay an extortionate sum to the Israeli Occupation demolition squads, who would be sent in to do it.
