202 more killed and 1037 wounded

Since dawn, Israeli air strikes, missile launches and gunfire on homes, as well as medical and other facilities, have resulted in 202 dead and 1037 wounded. Civil Defence crews retrieved four more bodies from underneath bomb-damaged property, bringing the total number now killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, to at least 55,908. The total wounded is now at least 131,138. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 90 and, that of those injured, is more than 211. A UN report states that, as of 14 January 2025, around 70% of those killed in Gaza were women and children.

Israeli Army attacks – refugee camps: Tulkarem – Israeli Occupation forces, raided several homes while continuing their storming, with live ammunition, of the city and the Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps.

Israeli Army attack in support of raiding settlers: Nablus – 14:30–21:20, with Israeli Army support, Occupation settlers invaded the Jabal Qamas area between the town of Beita and the village of Osirin, setting up a tent-dwelling. During the invasion, Israeli forces, firing live ammunition, wounded and hospitalised three residents: Muhammad Abdul Jabbar Ghanem, Muhammad Najeh Awad Bani Shamsah and Samer Muhammad Jabr Bani Shamsah.

Israeli settlers‘ attack on Palestinian homes: Hebron – 21:30, Israeli Occupation settlers opened fire on homes in the Shikara area, south of Yatta, and assaulted ten residents.

Home invasion and robbery: Ramallah – 02:40, raiding Israeli Occupation forces seized cash to the value of approximately $US500 from a home, in the town of Abwein.

Home invasions and population–control: Jenin – 12:25, Israeli forces raided the village of Marka, invading homes and interrogating residents.

Home invasions and robbery: Jenin – 20:10, the Israeli Army raided the town of Qabatiya, injuring a child, Yamen Al Qaraqish, and seizing cash to the approximate value of US$7,500 from one home as well as 10,000 Jordanian dinars, while seizing more cash to the value of around US$1,000 from another.

Home invasions and child abduction: Tubas – 00:15–07:25, Israeli forces continued their raids into the city and the town of Aqaba, raiding several homes, the Tubas Municipality building and other facilities and taking prisoner five residents, including a 15-year-old child: Amir Ghanem Ali Ghanem.

Home invasions and continued occupation – 1 taken prisoner: Tulkarem – 00:50, Israeli troops continued raiding the towns of Bal’a, Attil and Deir al-Ghusun, searched many homes and took prisoner one person in Deir al-Ghusun. They also continued their occupation of a number of homes in the towns of Bal’a and Deir al-Ghusun, turning them into military posts and taking another person prisoner in Bal’a.

Israeli Occupation mosque violation: Jerusalem – Israeli troops prevented Friday prayers being held at the Prophet Samuel Mosque.

Israeli Army robbery and agricultural sabotage: Tubas – 14:55, the Israeli military seized an agricultural tractor from a working farmer, in the al-Hamma area of the North Jordan Valley.

Israeli Army population–control: Nablus – 11:55, Israeli soldiers, stationed at the Beit Furik checkpoint, detained a vehicle belonging to the Aman Company while it was transferring money to ATMs in the town of Beit Furik. Three employeeswere temporarily detained.

Israeli Army population–control: Bethlehem – 14:45, Israeli Occupation forces took prisoner a mentally-incapacitated person, Aisha Awad Obayat, at the entrance to the settlement of Tekoa.
