Gaza Strip

Attacks: There are no safe places for the militarily-dominated population in Gaza, who find themselves subjected to airstrikes and other missile attacks on buildings, homes and many essentialfacilities, as well as constant gunfire and invasions by Israeli forces. The Israeli Navy continues to fire missiles, targeting facilities and buildings along the entire Gaza shoreline.

Victims: 21 more people have been killed within the past 48 hours, bringing the total number killed in Gaza since 7 October to at least 45,227. Another 61 have been wounded, bringing that total to 107,573. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 102 and, that of those injured, is now more than 244.

West Bank

Since midnight on 07 October 2023, Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure around the whole of the West Bank, preventing people (including even permit– holders) from entering both the city of Jerusalem as well as Israel, otherwise than for especially–negotiated exceptions. Permanent military checkpoints impose severe travel restrictions within the Occupied West Bank.

Israeli Army attack – 1 child wounded: Nablus – 14:55, Israeli Occupation forces, firing live ammunition, stormed Beit Furik and wounded a 15-year-old boy, Muhammad Firas Mahmoud Malitat,while raiding a bakery and examining its surveillance–camera recordings.

Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded and taken prisoner – 6 others also taken prisoner: Nablus – 03:30, Israeli forces stormed Burqa village and invaded homes, shooting and wounding a resident,Mahdi Muhammad Amin Hajjah, who was then taken prisoner, along with six other people.

Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded: Salfit – 16:45, the Israeli Army opened fire on a special-needs patient, Aws Kamal Maraaba, near the town of Deir Istiya, wounding and hospitalising him with a crippling injury.

Israeli Army attack – 2 children abducted: Bethlehem – morning, Israeli troops, firing live ammunition, stormed the village of Husan and abducted two children: Yamen Kamal Hamamra (aged 14)and 15-year–old Nour Issam Hamamra.

Home invasions: Nablus – 00:55–07:10, Israeli Occupation forces raided the village of Aqrabaniya and invaded three homes.

Israeli police and settlers’ mosque violation: Jerusalem – 12:10, Israeli settlers, escorted by Occupation police, invaded the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and molested worshippers.

Israeli Army population–control: Hebron – 09:50, Israeli Occupation forces closed, for a time, the northern entrance to the city.

Israeli Army population–control: Hebron – 15:00, Israeli forces welded shut the doors to a carpentry shop in the city.

Occupation settler violence – pastoral sabotage: Tubas – 15:40, an armed settler terrorised shepherds in the Einun area, east of Tubas, and forced them out of it.

Occupation settler stoning: Tubas – 16:10, stone-throwing Israelis, from the Rotem Occupation settlement in the North Jordan Valley, smashed the windows of a vehicle in the village of Kardala.

Occupation settler agricultural sabotage: Salfit – 17:00, Israeli Occupation settlers invaded Yasuf village farmland and vandalised the agriculture, cutting and uprooting olive seedlings.

Occupation settler violence: Hebron – 13:40, Israeli settlers molested a farmer, Naim Al-Azazmeh on his land, south of Bani Naim, and prevented him from fencing-off his property.
