Gaza‘s growing death, injury and sickness

The total numbers of killed and wounded in Gaza by Israel since 7 October 2023 are: killed 72,063 and wounded 171,726.

The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza since 7 October 2023 is at least 83 and, that of those injured, is more than 198.

Since the start of the Gaza ‘ceasefire’ the Israeli Occupation has killed 794 Palestinians and injured 1,609

The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza since the ceasefire is 6 and, that of those injured, 12.

West Bank

Since 24:00 on 7 October 2023, Israeli Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure on the West Bank, preventing residents and other permit-holders from entering or leaving. The Israeli military also imposes severe, and highly variable, travel restrictions on all residents.

Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded: Jerusalem – 11:15, Israeli Occupation forces at the Annexation Wall near Al-Ram, opened fire on and wounded man, Muhammad Samir Muhammad Muhammad Halhuli, trying to get to work in the city.

Israeli settler armed attack – terrorism: Ramallah – 00:10, Occupation settlers, one of them armed and shooting indiscriminately, invaded the outskirts of Turmusaya and terrorised residents in their homes.

Israeli Army attack – 1 child and 2 adults wounded: Jericho – 15:45, 13-year-old Muhammad Ibrahim Salim Abu Dalakh was killed by an exploding device left behind by the Israeli Army, near the village of Faroush Beit Dajan, which also injured two other people: Khali Ahmed Jabarat and Abd Ahmed Khalil Jabarat.

Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded: Bethlehem – 12:15, armed Israeli settlers releasing livestock onto agricultural land, near the village of Rashida, shot and wounded a man: Salama Muhammad Hassan Rashida.

Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded: Hebron – 19:40-23:45, Israeli Occupation forces, firing live ammunition, stormed the town of Dura, wounding a resident: Wajdi Hafez Hassan Al-Amayreh.

Home invasion and forced personal demolition: Jerusalem – 22:55, the Israeli Occupation forced a resident, Ahmed Khader Nimr, to destroy his home in the village of Sur Baher – or otherwise be forced to pay an extortionate sum to the Israeli Occupation demolition squads, who would be sent in to do it.

Home invasion and demolition: Jenin – 09:30, Israeli forces raided Silat al-Harithiya, demolishing a house and closing entrances to the town.

Home invasions and demolition: Jenin – 12:30, the Israeli Army, demolishing a house in Silat al-Harithiya, fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards residents.

Home invasions and occupation: Tulkarem – the Israeli Army continued its incursions into the city as well as the Nur Shams and city refugee camps, occupying homes for use as military outposts.

Home invasion – 1 taken prisoner: Hebron – 18:50-20:00, Israeli Occupation forces raided the town of Idhna, invading a home and taking prisoner a resident.

Israeli Army assault with rubber-coated bullets and stun grenades – 1 wounded: Jerusalem – 14:00, Israeli Occupation forces, firing rubber-coated bullets and stun grenades, raided the Shuafat refugee camp, wounding a resident: Walid Jibril Al-Mutawwar.

Israeli Army plunder and agricultural sabotage: Jerusalem – morning, Israeli forces demolished agricultural facilities and seized property in the Arab al-Jahalin area, east of Jerusalem.

Israeli Army population–control: Jerusalem – the Israeli Occupation, in the Old City, closed the Headquarters of the Burj Al-Laqlaq Association for a period of six months, welding shut the doors and preventing entry, in denial of any Palestinian National Authority sovereign activity in the city.

Israeli Army land–seizure: Jerusalem – Occupation forces issued Order No.26/22/T, seizing land in the town of Beit Hanina, for military purposes.

Israeli police and settlers’ mosque violation: Jerusalem – 08:00, Israeli settler militants, escorted by Occupation troops and police, invaded the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and molested worshippers.

Israeli Army land–seizure: Nablus – Occupation forces issued Order No.1/26, for the seizure of an archaeological site and its surroundings, in the town of Sebastia.

Israeli Army land–seizure: Bethlehem – Occupation forces issued an order, for the seizure of land, in order to build a settlement road linking the Givat Eitam Occupation settlement outpost to the Tekoa settlement, passing through the land of the villages of Khallat al-Nahla, Khallat al-Qattan and Khala’il al-Lawz.

Israeli Army agricultural sabotage: Hebron – Israeli Occupation forces uprooted dozens of olive trees along bypass Road 35, passing the entrance to the town of Idhna and issued orders for theuprooting of olive and almond trees along an 8km-long stretch of road close to the Annexation Wall.

Occupation settler agricultural sabotage: Ramallah – 12:25, Israeli Occupation settlers released their livestock onto agricultural land in the Wadi Ammar area, near the town of Turmusaya .

Occupation settler terrorism: Ramallah – 16:00, Israeli settlers invaded the area between Deir Dibwan and the village of Rammun, taking prisoner a man, Rashid Fayez Ara’ra, and handing him over to Israeli Occupation forces. They also assaulted and hospitalised another person, Khalaf Muhammad Ali Ara’ra, as well as stealing livestock.

Occupation settler pastoral sabotage and violence: Ramallah – 23:45, stone-throwing Occupation settlers invaded the outskirts of the village of Yabrud, attacking homes and residents, leaving three people, Salim Abdul Jalil Daoud, Abdul Rahim Salim Daoud and Muhammad Amjad Hadid, injured. The settlers also stole 20 sheep.

Occupation settler terrorism and population–control: Tubas – constant terrorism exercised by Israeli settlers and supported by Israeli forces, forced around 15 families, in the Al-Malih area of the North Jordan Valley, to abandon their homes and leave, as the Occupation progressed in pursuing its aim of taking full control of the area.

Occupation settler agricultural sabotage: Qalqiliya – 09:25, Israeli settlers released their livestock onto Kafr Thulth agricultural land.

Occupation settler violence: Nablus – 16:55, Israeli Occupation settlers raided privately-owned land in the village of Beit Dajan and assaulted the owner.

Occupation settler violence: Nablus – 17:40, pepper-spraying Occupation settlers terrorised people, near their homes in the Ein al-Qasab area of Qabalan, assaulting two working electricians: Hamed Aqra and Mustafa Zeidan.

Occupation settler olive tree sabotage: Nablus – 19:35, Israelis, from the Rahalim Occupation settlement cut off branches from olive trees, on Yatma village agricultural land.
