109 killed — 216 wounded

Since dawn, Israeli air strikes and gunfire on homes, as well as medical and other facilities, resulted in the death of 109 residents and the wounding of 216. Civil Defence crews retrieved anotherbody from underneath a bomb-damaged building, bringing the total number now killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, to at least 53,119. The total wounded is now at least 120,214. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 90 and, that of those injured, is more than 205. A UN report states that, as of 14 January 2025, around 70% of those killed in Gaza were women and children.

West Bank

Palestinian Monitoring Group — Since midnight on 07 October 2023, Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure around the whole of the West Bank, preventing people (even including permit-holders) from entering both Jerusalem City as well as Israel, other than for especially-negotiated exceptions. Permanent military checkpoints impose severe travel restrictions within the Occupied West Bank.

Israeli Army attack – 3 wounded in refugee camp: Ramallah – 16:55, Israeli Occupation forces stormed the Jalazoun refugee camp, wounding three people: Abdul Karim Abdul Nabi Sharaka, Yahya Wissam Hawsa and Muhammad Khalil Al-Husays.

Israeli Army attack – 1 child wounded – 1 woman taken prisoner: Ramallah – 18:50, Israeli forces, firing live ammunition, stormed the village of al-Mughayir, wounding a 15-year-old boy: Majd Mahmoud Muhammad Al-Nasan. They also took prisoner one woman.

Israeli Army attacks: Jenin – the Israeli Army, firing live ammunition, is continuing to storm the city as well as the refugee camp.

Israeli Army attack – surveillance – 3 taken prisoner: Tubas – 02:15, Israeli troops, continuing their storming of the city, invaded Al-Quds Open University and seized surveillance-camera recordings as well as taking prisoner three people.

Israeli Army attack – 5 killed – home invasion: Tubas – the Israeli military, firing live ammunition, continued storming the town of Tamoun and fired anti-tank rifle grenades while besieging a house. Five people, Wadih Iyad Ahmed Odeh (aged 19), Ibrahim Yassin Ahmed Bani Odeh, Reda Kamal Mahmoud Bani Odeh, Islam Azmi Hussein Bani Odeh and Saher Nabil Basharat, were killed.

Israeli Army attacks on refugee camps – homes demolished: Tulkarem – the Israeli military continued its attacks on the city as well as the Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps. More homes were demolished in the Nur Shams refugee camp.

Israeli settler attack: Salfit – 15:05, Occupation settlers opened fire indiscriminately towards the bypass road, north of Bruqin.

Home invasion and demolition: Nablus – 09:40, Israeli Occupation forces demolished a home, in the village of Majdal Bani Fadel.

Home invasions and arson: Salfit – 16:50, Occupation settlers stormed Bruqin, raiding three homes and setting fire to a bulldozer.

Home invasions and Occupation – robbery: Salfit – 00:10, Israeli forces continued their raids on the towns of Bruqin, Kafr al-Dik, Kafr Haris, Deir Ballut, Bidya aas well as the villages of Khirbet Qais, Haris, Rafat. They invaded homes and, in the the town of Bruqin, a number of homes were seized and turned into military posts. Three residents were taken prisoner and cash was taken from two homes.

Occupation threat: Hebron – 01:50, Israeli settlers, led by the Israeli Finance Minister Smotrich, invaded the grounds of the Ibrahimi Mosque and set fire to a Palestinian flag in the outer courtyard.

Israeli Army mosque violation – stun grenades fired: Hebron – 04:00, Occupation forces closed the Ibrahimi Mosque in the Old City and prevented the dawn prayer in the Mosque. They also fired stun grenades at would-be worshippers.

Occupation settler stoning: Ramallah – 21:20, Israelis, from the Halamish Occupation settlement, stoned passing vehicles at the nearby roundabout.

Occupation settler water crime: Tubas – Israeli Occupation settlers vandalised the tyres of two water tankers and cut 300 metres of water–supply lines.

Occupation settler vandalism: Qalqiliya – 00:25, Israeli settlers smashed the windows of a vehicle, near al-Funduq village.

Occupation settler stoning: Nablus – 14:40, Israelis, from the Eli Occupation settlement, stoned passing vehicles at the nearby road junction as well as on the main Nablus to Ramallah road.
