In Gaza during the past 24 hours (as above) 15 more Palestinians have been wounded by Israeli shelling and gunfire.

The total numbers of killed and wounded in Gaza by Israel since 7 October 2023 are: killed 72,051 and wounded 171,706.

The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza since 7 October 2023 is at least 83 and, that of those injured, is more than 199.

Since the start of the Gaza ‘ceasefire’ the Israeli Occupation has killed 792 Palestinians and injured 1,598

Antizionism is not antisemitism: She clarifies that antizionism, the opposition to Zionism, is distinct from antisemitism (1:22-1:26).

Media bias in reporting: Halper points out a significant bias in how corporate media reports on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, often softening language used to describe Israeli actions (2:17-2:44). She cites instances where alleged atrocities by Hamas received disproportionate attention compared to those attributed to Israelis (2:45-3:18).

Israel’s founding and treatment of Holocaust survivors: She challenges the narrative that Israel was solely founded as a safe haven for Holocaust survivors, stating it was founded on ethnic cleansing (4:28-4:40). Halper also claims that early Zionists used derogatory terms for Holocaust survivors and mistreated them, viewing them as weak (5:02-5:42).

Zionist-instigated bombings: She mentions Zionist bombings in the Middle East aimed at coercing Jews to migrate to Israel, where they often faced mistreatment (5:54-6:12). Suppression of Jewish culture: Halper discusses how Israel rejected Yiddish and Arabic, languages spoken by various Jewish communities, in favor of modern Hebrew, leading to the decline of Yiddish (6:16-6:36).

Zionism’s relationship with antisemitism: She asserts that Zionism, fuelled by Christian Zionism, requires antisemitism to justify its existence and that historical figures like Lord Balfour were antisemitic (6:50-7:12).

Conflict is not about religion: Halper emphasises that the conflict is not about religion but about power, land, and Western influence in the Middle East (7:16-7:34). Historical Jewish anti-Zionism: She highlights a rich history of Jewish anti-Zionism, with many Jews opposing it from its inception (7:37-7:45). Coexistence is possible: Halper concludes by stating that Jews, Muslims, and Christians can live together in Palestine, as they have for centuries, and that Zionism, not a free Palestine, is the biggest threat to Jewish safety (8:40-9:18).

West Bank

Since 24:00 on 7 October 2023, Israeli Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure on the West Bank, preventing residents and other permit-holders from entering or leaving. The Israeli military also imposes severe, and highly variable, travel restrictions on all residents.

Israeli settler attack: Nablus – 09:05, armed Israeli settlers, shooting indiscriminately, invaded the Ras Ein Einiya area, between Qusra and the village of Talfit.

Israeli Army attack – 2 wounded – 2 beaten–up: : Nablus – 09:30, Israeli forces, firing live ammunition, raided the village of Talfit, wounding two residents: Areeb Munther Awad and Samer Muhammad Abu Aisha. Two other people, Ismail Ziad Muslim and Rajih Muslim, were severely beaten by Israeli soldiers.
