108 more killed and 393 wounded
Since dawn, Israeli air strikes, missile launches and gunfire on homes, as well as medical and other facilities, have resulted in 108 dead and 393 wounded. Civil Defence crews retrieved 2 more bodies from underneath bomb-damaged property, bringing the total number now killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, to at least 55.115. The total wounded is now at least 126,227. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 90 and, that of those injured, is more than 207. A UN report states that, as of 14 January 2025, around 70% of those killed in Gaza were women and children.

This past month, we witnessed more relentless killing in Gaza. In May alone, Israel killed 1,240 Palestinians through airstrikes and gunfire (based on Gaza Health Ministry figures).
Senior Israeli officials continue to openly declare their intent to carry out ethnic cleansing. Even the Prime Minister made this clear during a press conference:

Israeli violence is intensifying across the West Bank: civilians, including children and teenagers, are being killed; entire communities are being forcibly displaced; military raids continue; and settlers carry out attacks with impunity. From the start of the war until 31 May 2025, Israel killed 927 Palestinians in the West Bank – at least 183 of them minors – and forcibly displaced 29 communities from their homes.
On 27 January 2025, during a raid in Tulkarm, Israeli forces shot 10-year-old Sadam Rajab as he stood at the entrance to his building. His father, Iyad, rushed to evacuate him under fire. Ten days later, Sadam died of his wounds.

Palestinian Monitoring Group — Since midnight on 07 October 2023, Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure around the whole of the West Bank, preventing people (even including permit-holders) from entering both Jerusalem City as well as Israel, other than for especially-negotiated exceptions. Permanent military checkpoints impose severe travel restrictions within the Occupied West Bank.
